Robin Builders, Inc. provides the following warranty for their prefabricated buildings sold through authorized Robin dealers. The warranty, valid for the original purchaser at the original delivery address, comprises several key points:
Materials and Workmanship: A one-year warranty covers all materials and workmanship, excluding incidental or consequential damages.
Treated Wooden Parts: A 20-year warranty protects treated wooden parts against termite or fungal decay damage, provided the building is appropriately installed and maintained. Replacement or repair of unsound parts occurs in the first year, and subsequent years entail replacement with new parts for any structural issues.
Aluminum Parts: Aluminum parts or siding come with a 30-year warranty against perforation due to rust or corrosion. Similar to wooden parts, the first year covers repair or replacement, and the subsequent period offers new parts for any perforation issues.
Galvalume Steel Roofing Sheets: These are warranted for 20 years against rupture or perforation due to atmospheric corrosion. The initial year covers repair or replacement, while the following years involve exchanging damaged panels for new ones.
Limitations: The warranty is for the original purchaser at the original installation site and does not cover various circumstances such as intentional damage, acts of nature, improper installation, or excessive loading.
Registration: The original owner must register the warranty within 30 days of installation by the authorized dealer.
Claim Process: Claims must be made in writing within the warranty period, allowing 90 days for investigation. Robin Builders, Inc. may repair or replace defective parts during the first year and exchange damaged warranted parts in subsequent years. However, they are not responsible for removal costs or installation after the first year.
